Paul addressing the believers at Corinth in 1 Corinthians 9:27 makes this interesting statement; But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway. It is interesting to note that as a nation perhaps we have done what Paul was concerned about personally. We have declared the gospel around the globe and slowly slipped into apostacy at home.
We need to see revival fires ignited in the church pulpit and pew. Peter admonishes the believers of his day in the epistle of 1 Peter 4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? The revival needs to be one with soul-searching conviction and life altering repentance. Not just a religious high that provides a temporary guilt release till the next service. Will you be part of the modern-day revival and pray that God will light a new fire of righteous passion in your heart and soul?
